As we approach the halfway point of the season here in Bahrain, we once again take a took at the track with an onboard lap, this time driven by Computrac driver Gavin Thomas.

Commentary: William Ponissi

Q) Things looked a little tricky on the lap - do you think the Computrac will go better here in the race?

- I think that we've been playing catch up all season due to a very undercooked poweplant. When it comes to places like Monaco, we can compete, but the power circuits are always going to be a real challenge as we don't have the grunt of other engines. Also I'm sure we'll make some strides before it comes to Qualifying.

Q) Which parts of the track do you find most challenging as a driver and which parts do you enjoy?

- I think the run down to the first corner is tricky here, it's such a high speed going into a very tight 2nd gear corner, I'm sure there'll be a couple of comings together in that part. The 3rd sector is really enjoyable, lots of fast sweeping corners.

Q3) How would you describe your driving style?

- I always like to think I drive like my hero Mansell. Aggressive, with a never say die attitude. However, you'd no doubt have some other choice descriptions of my driving from others on the grid!

Q4) How are you finding things on your return to GPVWC action and what are you hoping to achieve for the remainder of the season?

- I'm starting to ease my way back in. The Supercup at Silverstone was a good way to return, all be it in 7th place, then to start in the Superleague the following night and beat my team mate Ben Morgan for the first time this season was good. Albeit we would've liked to be among the points. As I've taken over Computrac, our aim is to score as many points as we can, with also one eye on 2012.
