CSG Racing, the team that gave now experienced competitors Lee
Morris, Nick Rowland their debut in the GPVWC, today confirmed their return to
active competition with a commitment to compete in the upcoming Supercup season.

Alex Cooper, the first of the team?s two drivers is sure to make an
impact upon the front runners, his on track potential having been clearly
demonstrated throughout numerous ventures including a strong pre-season run
with Superleague team Midnight Motorsport.

When queried on his hopes for the upcoming campaign, Cooper remained
realistic, emphasising the need to establish a solid foundation with the team:

?I'm not
expecting miracles at the start, I'm confident in my ability but I'm not taking
anything for granted, I hope to be in the top five or six for the first few
races, then once I'm used to the car and the team, hopefully we can fight for
higher positions.?

Cooper remained similarly modest
when asked about his goals for the coming season:

?I just hope to impress the team
owners, and make them confident that I'm the right person for the seat.
Anything on top of that is just a bonus.?

The vastly talented Ric Scott was
then announced as the other of the team?s two drivers. The Brit embarking upon
his first full campaign within the GPVWC, having competed in the latter half of
the 2011 Supercup season with seven top ten finishes from his nine starts.
Scott combines his new role at CSG Racing alongside duties as Team Manager and
Reserve Driver for the Hawkeye Superleague squad.

When questioned about his
obligations outside of his on track duties, Scott remained confident that these
would not prove to be a distraction:

?I have made sure that the
Supercup is the only series I?m racing in full-time, so that I won?t turn up to
races unprepared with a lack of practice. I don?t feel my management role at
Hawkeye will be an issue, having already been in a similar situation last
season which didn?t highlight any problems.?

Scott is hopeful of improving
further upon his solid debut in the latter half of the 2011 season; with
consistent top five finishes being his ambition for the upcoming season:

?I was happy with my performances
last year. Judging from my results, if I had started from the beginning of the
season I had a chance at being in the top five in the standings, so in terms of
my consistency I think I am in a good position. In 2012 though, I?d like to
improve my pace, as last year a lot of my results were through gaining from
other people?s incidents. If I can qualify higher up I won?t need to rely on
the mistakes of others and could even fight for podiums. I think, with the help
from the team, I?ll be in a good position to be able to achieve this goal.?

Team Owner Dave Carr-Smith was similarly upbeat by the team?s
prospects for 2012, believing that a team restructure following the end of
their previous Superleague campaign will be crucial to the ongoing success of
the team:

?To have drivers of Alex and Ric?s talent onboard for this season is
obviously very exciting for all involved. The team has undergone a major
transition since our previous ventures and as such we strongly believe that we
can give our drivers the opportunities they need to be able to deliver the
results on track.?

A number of Midnight Motorsport personnel attended the presentation,
a relationship that Carr-Smith was eager to discuss:

?Obviously we maintain very close links with the management of
Midnight Motorsport, Team Owner Nick Rowland having made his debut with us in
2009. We feel that our close ties with the team throughout the upcoming year
will only serve to strengthen both our performance in Supercup as well as
Midnight?s performance in the Superleague.

It?s great to have such links with a Superleague team as obviously
it offers our drivers the possibility of further development with the team,
working alongside a Superleague squad, learning the intricacies of the sport
and getting a taste of what they can expect to be a part of in the future.?

Of course this partnership has already had a major influence upon
one of the team?s drivers, with Alex Cooper having been signed as test and
reserve driver for the Midnight squad ? the call up resulting in an impressive
pre-season testing campaign for the relative rookie.

The team is expected to unveil its 2012 car shortly before the first round of the season in Melbourne next week, although no official presentation
has been scheduled at this point in time.
