Team owner Andy Graydon updates on teampreparationsfor their comeback season.

Since obtaining their licence to re-enter the GPVWC in the 2013 season, it's been very quiet regarding plans or team sign ups. So what's the deal? We caught up with team boss Andy Graydon whilst he was sunning himself on Surfers Paradise beach over the Christmas Holidays. A nice place to spend the Holiday period and some very nice "eye candy".

This is what he had to say:-

"It's great to be back in the GPVWC in an entrant capacity, that's for sure. Prior to the bid to re-enter, we made contact with several people regarding opportunities for 2013. That's from all sides of the team, because - let's face it - it's like starting from scratch!

We still have the facilities as we left them at Elvington in the UK - mothballed, and outdated now, but at least it gives us a homebase from which to build the team. January 2013 is definitely going to provide more news on the personnel front, and at this stage I can't really say any more."

But what about the drivers -Phoenix F1 areleaving it late in the day if they haven't arranged any deals yet - what with the first test coming up at the end of January?

"There will be news on the driversannounced in the second week of January. There has been a lot of speculation, but that information will be released all in good time. All I can say is that we have the main driver pairing arranged, just waiting to officiallyverify the contracts within the GPVWC system".

At that, Andy's gaze wandered off as a group of scantily clad, tanned young ladies glided by blue sky, great surf, golden sandy beaches. A stark change to the old days of Blackpool, stormy wet weather and freezing temperatures at this time of year!
