chief designer has work cut out for him in high profile role.
Soon after Illario Schiavone joined Red Archer as chief designer he was told that he will have to deal with a number of possible upgrades (around four to five) and that he should make good job on team's aero tunnel trying to find which can be the bestsolutionfor the team and set the R&D strategy the soonest.

Few days ago and when the GPVWC admins announced the new RnD system Illario was reading the technical guide obviously shocked and disappointed !! A total of 13 upgradable parts, most of them with 10 available steps and all of them seemed to be very crucial for the car's performance!! Red Archer's designer was one step away from resigning his job, a job he always wanted since he is a very young man. However outside manager's office and with the resignation paper in his hands he realised that he had the will to fight for what he liked to do most, design cars!

Back to his office the Italian designer put down all data and made a plan of tests. He was going to test every single upgrade simulating it in the pc, in the aero tunnel and finally on track with the drivers. The challenge had already began and he was determined to deal with it with the best way for him and his team.

Rumours say that the first upgrades have already been ordered and the factory at Rethymno is working on them with full, non stop production. Will the results reward Illaria and Red Archer? Time will show and Melbourne is only one month away!
