New Nordsjoen signing Lee Morris was satisfied with the team's first outing in Valencia
Nordsjoen arrive in Germany at the Hockenheim circuit this week to continue with pre season testing after what has been deemed a successful first testing experience last Thursday.

After a good outing at Valencia the team leant a lot about the 2013 contender and were very optimistic after the first test with both Dave Carr-Smith, Pavel Loknovski and Lee Morris reporting good feedback about the new car, Morris went on to say;

"The first outing in a new car is always a special moment and it's always really good to come off the track and report good things. It's the first time in my career that I have not had one negative thing to say about a car after the first shakedown, we had one small problem on the first few laps out which resulted in a spin for myself but after that it was plain sailing. We completed a full quota of laps and took onboard plenty of data which we have studied this weekend"

When asked about the realistic aims after the first test, Morris had this to say:

"It is the first time in my career I have not had one negative thing to say about a new car"
"The first test does not really show what people can do, we did our thing, others do their own programs. We were very, very happy with what we achieved in the session but we can not make any realistic aims for Melbourne. You see some teams like Midnight far down the timesheets and you realise they are full with fuel, but I do take confidence from the fact we were not light either and we were 2nd fastest, The next few tests will really start to show what teams can do, we will see who is light and who is heavy."

Pre season testing continues on Thursday with the full complement of Dave Carr-Smith , Pavel Loknovski and Lee Morris at the wheel again.
