The new contender of the St Helens team is sporting the distinctive Gulf livery at the launch of the car that will aim to restore the team to its previous glories

2013 marks the 5th year of Superleague competition for Constant Racing, and it is a season which hopes to see a return to form for the St Helens based team. This year will also see milestones for both Mark and David, reaching their 75th and 50th Grand Prix starts respectively.

Hoping to make an impression on the 2013 season right away, we are pleased to announce the unveiling of the CR-SL13 (see video on the right).

A big change for this year is that the livery no longer follows the Constant racing trend of "Main colour with white accents", instead being replaced by our newest sponsor.

Constant Racing is very proud to announce that the CR-SL13 will be sporting the most iconic livery in motorsports history with the introduction of Gulf Oil. Made famous for their success in Endurance and GT Racing, the Gulf livery has been driven to success and used on legendary cars such as the Ford GT40 in the 1960's, spanning decades to their current involvement with Aston Martin on their GT and LMP class cars.

Mark will be driving the number 18 car, featuring Orange rear wing end plates and mirrors, while David will drive the number 19 car with Blue end plates and mirrors.

"We are very proud to be sporting such a legendary paint scheme, and we hope to make the most of this opportunity and do the best job we can throughout the 2013 season" - Mark Stanton
