Vaidas Balciunas has been the sole running car for the team on most occasions this season. As announced today the second car will now be filled by David Stanton.
Stanton is well known in the league having driven in the superleague since 2010. In that time he has 49 top class races to his name.
Stanton has experience with the WSS cars too after driving them last year for DSR with a best place finish of sixth in Canada.

Mike Pitman
"it's a pleasure to welcome David to the team, it's not often a driver of his talent and stature comes onto the driver market... So we took the opportunity. David is a well respected member of the community and we look forward to working with him."

It was also announced that Balciunas will take a step back from driver duties due to family matters, but will still fill the role of reserve driver.

"it's a shame for Vaidas and we wish him all the best, hopefully we will see him back later in the season. So it's a whole new lineup for Monaco, we will give our VBM lads a chance to go in the car and partner Mark but we are also open to new drivers joining the team"
