On the eve of the French Grand Prix, with six races remaining, the Hawkeye Racing team state their intentions for the remainder of the season.

After the retirement of Bart De Vos from the Hawkeye team at the Italian Grand Prix, it was always a bit of a guess how the team would cope with that. The team found a worthy replacement in Ryan Walker, who impressed with his great consistency in Supercup, and is alive and kicking!

The team now consists of Lewis Redshaw and Ryan Walker, with SC Championship leader Oscar Hardwick still as testdriver.

Both drivers hope to finish in a strong position for the French grand prix at magny-cours to make their first steps towards the goals they set themselves for the rest of the season.

Ryan wants to improve consistency to make sure he can start picking up points for the team and would like to get some top 10 finishes near the end of the season.

Lewis on the other hand has made it his quest to finish ahead of Dave Carr-Smith, who halted his SL career earlier in the season, and Tom van der Voort, Lewis' closest rival in the current standings.
That first goal can be achieved by finishing 7th or higher in every race, which is a challenge by itself. Finishing in front of Tom might be a more complex exercise.

Together, the team has opened the hunt on Nordsjoen, currently 4th in the Constructor standings with a gap of 54 points on Hawkeye. Fending off both their closest rival Red Archer and the rapidly charging Kernow should be possible as well.

The team surely is ready for tomorrow's race in France.
