The Australian rookie is set to depart ST Racing at the end of the 2013 Season - but with no indication yet of where his destination will be.

Harley Hamnett came into the GPVWC scene late in the year but has made a big impact in people's minds. After an impressive debut race in Supercup, in which he scored a point, he was quickly snapped up by Superleague strugglers ST Racing. In the four grand prix that have followed, he has gained a reputation for bringing the car home and well in the points.

Bringing in 19 points of ST Racings total 25 points thus far was an impressive return for the rookie. This ability to pull points out of the bag and his consistency hasn't gone unnoticed by team bosses either, and has set him to receive many offers from Superleague teams for 2014.

Speaking exclusively to Harley before the Abu Dhabi GP next week, the Australian said how excited he still is by the Superleague and wanting to continue to bring home points for ST Racing.

During the interview Harley announced he would be leaving ST Racing at the end of the year but wouldn't let out where he would be moving to.

"it's with regret that I have decided to leave ST Racing at the end of this season, I want to thank Mark Fuller for giving me the chance in the Superleague car and the fans who have supported me though my brief time here. I hope that the future might bring us together again but I am looking forward to a new chapter in my career next year and it was an opportunity I couldn't turn down. I am still excited and have a good working relationship here at ST and want to bring in as many points as possible from the remaining races to help in move ST racing up the standings "

Wherever Harley ends up, this reporter is sure from the sadness at ST Racing this morning that they have got themselves a great signing and we look forward to watching his performances next year - in whatever car that may be.
