After achieving a Drivers' Championship during his maiden season in Superleague, British diver David Fidock opted to join Hawkeye Racing for his 2015 title defence.

Hawkeye didn't have the season they had hoped for in 2014 with the outfit being held back by quite a few major setbacks, but managing to stay upright trough the hard and never ending efforts of Gergo Baldi.

The Hungarian was delighted (and already confirmed) to stay with the team for 2015, and will now drive alongside David Fidock.

Both drivers, as well as Team Principal Ric Scott have a bright view on next season and the future of the team in general.

David announced his new co-operation with Hawkeye himself:

"It is with great pride that I announce my arrival? at Hawkeye. This is a team with great history in the league, but it's a team missing that title it deserves so bad. This is what helped me make my decision to climb aboard and help bring success to the team.

I am sure with myself and Gergo on board, and with the help of Ric and the rest of the staff, we will bring the team some much needed wins next year alongside those missing titles hopefully .

I'm looking forward to racing alongside Gergo! He is a very quick and consistent driver as we all saw last season. So I will have to be on my game each race in order to be ahead of him, something that excites me very much!

I would also like to thank Ric and the rest of the team for giving me this opportunity, and I hope we can have great success together."

Team Principal Ric Scott was optimistic about 2015 after his most recent signing:

"Every team manager would like the best guys driving their car and David has clearly proved he was the best in 2014 by winning the title, so we?re absolutely delighted to have acquired his services for the 2015 season. We believe we have one of the strongest line-ups on the grid and we're determined to convert that high potential into great results to make up for the mishaps of last season. "

Gergo Baldi is very much looking forward to working with, and measuring himself against the world champion:

"It's really a big surprise, and a huge boost for me to have David in the team. I'm a hundred percent sure that he'll bring a "bonus gear" to the team. I think we will work well together, and I hope we'll be able to bring the very best results to Hawkeye Racing."
