Brand new Dutch outfit to make bow in World Sport Series.

CM-Tech Racing is set to make its official racing debut after the official list of teams that were allowed to race in the World Sport Series was revealed. The team is one of seven entries that have changed from the 2014 championship.

With CM-Tech Racing now officially making its debut, it is also safe to announce drivers for the team. The two drivers had been waiting just as eagerly as team boss Wopke Hoekstra for the list to be published, and are very exciting for the season to come.

The first driver to be signed is a relatively new face in the GPVWC but that doesn't take away anything from the amount of talent the man has. He drove two Open Series races last season and finished 3rd and 1st there. These results allowed him to drive the first race of the 2015 Formula Challenge season in the Downforce iZone Racing car. It also was enough to impress Hoekstra, and thus he decided to give Tomeu Cabrer a chance in the World Sport Series cars.

Cabrer's reaction: "I'm happy to join at CM-Tech and that they trust in me and signed me as a main driver, I expect to do nice races and get some good fun while racing here. I would also like to learn and improve as a driver and am glad to do this while I compete with the best drivers."

Lined up next to Cabrer will be a more experienced member of the GPVWC. After being team mates in 2014 at YTF1, Adam Ozgur has become a driver in the World Sport Series by signing for CM-Tech Racing and thus Hoekstra and Ozgur meet again. Both are happy to be working together and are sure it will be a good season for them.

Ozgur said: "I'm proud to be here and it's cool I can drive for a former team-mate of mine. I haven't really explored the car yet, but if it suits me it would be a good goal to finish in the top half of the standings."

Next to having two main drivers, CM-Tech also decided it would be good to help and develop another driver. The team decided to take Joshua Anderson under their wings as a development and emergency/reserve driver. Hoekstra will be helping Anderson to get better and hopes his other drivers will help him as well.

"Naturally I'm thrilled to get offered a contract in such a competitive series. I've been wanting to get back into a GPVWC series for a while now, so when the chance came to sign with CM-Tech as a developmental/reserve driver I was quite eager to take it! Wopke's a great guy, and I'm sure that I'm going to enjoy working with him, as well as Tomeu and Adam. Both are really promising drivers and I think they're capable of great things." These were the words of Joshua Anderson.

Hoekstra added to that: "In my opinion it is very important to help every driver out there. I believe that every driver is able to be quick as long as they are helped forward a bit and get a chance to drive. My bet is that Joshua will be able to become a great driver, especially since he's still young. The goal is to help him forward as much as possible and we hope to have him back to racing in the league soon!"
