High-flying 2014 outfit welcome in the champion.

Last year was a great success for Ice Cold Racing. The brand-new team for the Worlds Sports Series managed to secure six pole positions (the sixth one is a tough one to swallow, due to the unfortunate results of Tim Heinemann's reputation), as well as six wins and only loosing out to Smile Power Racing in the Team's Championship by a few points. These are results the team have had in mind during the off-season and are now back ready to improve on these stats and properly fight for the championships.

The first driver is 2014 Worlds Sports Series Driver's Champion Jesper Nielsen. A contract which has been discussed for a period of time finally happened, and he joins Ice Cold Racing on top of his Formula Challenge drive for the team.

The second driver will be manager Eric Stranne. Having missed a few rounds, he still managed to be in for the title fight at the finale in Monza which unfortunately didn't quite go his way. This year, the goal is clear - be in contention for the Drivers' Championship again. Due to technical issues he will miss the first event at Barcelona, however, these problems should soon be fixed, and he should be ready for the grid for Round 2. Stranne will be replaced by the young Scotsman John Munro at Barcelona.

Stranne had this to say;
"I am very much looking forward to the season. I started suffering from technical issues not long before the first round, meaning I will be unable to compete at the season opener. However, from then on I should be on the grid for the remainder of the season. I am thrilled to have Jesper Nielsen on the team for this season as well, and I think we have a very good chance at shooting for championships this year."

Nielsen was asked to comment on his thought of the season, and what he expect from the team. However, in true Kimi Raikkonen fashion, he replied with "I have no idea what to say. I hope Stranne behaves?", followed by "I am not sure what I meant with that". Shortly after, he went off to have a nap.
