Top ten results for both cars rounds off a solid evening of racing for Romanian outfit.

Round six of the GPVWC World Sports Series, featured the UK round, the two races around the streets of Silverstone!

With Risto Kappet and Walk Racing already leading the way in the championship, the goal was to have another strong evening of racing, and maintain, and if possible extend the championship lead around this track.

Each race thrilled the spectators to two races of 17 laps each, on a circuit where qualifying was crucial, with no room to overtake, and no performance differential between the Porsche GT3 cars.

Qualifying Result
6th Risto Kappet
10th Cameron Brewster

Lining up a solid 6th on the grid, Risto said after qualifying, "P6 is pretty much the perfect result i can ask for with 45kg although ingeneral Canapino was quite close to my pace that day ".

10th place on the 23 car grid, was a solid result in qualifying from Cameron, who was hoping for better things to come in Race 1, "I managed to put the car in 10th for the start of race one which meant I was in a good position for a decent number of points come the chequered flag".

Race 1 Result
5th Risto Kappet
9th Cameron Brewste

5th place with maximum succes balast , Kappet commented, "P5 again was more than I wanted, i passed Weekes at the start put let him back later and just tried to keep position and get to the finish in a position to start R2 with most points and least weight as possible. Second to last lap Cameron was 6th for a good result and i planned to switch with him to get to R2 with no weight but he dropped away so stayed P5".

Cameron described his race 1 , " After avoiding the incidents in the first few corners I spent the majority of the race in 6th behind Risto until on the last lap my game lagged causing me to lose control and slip to 9th which is where I finished. Still, a double top 10 for the team and yet more points in the bag.".

Race 2 Result
14th Cameron Brewster
5th Risto Kappet

On his 14th position in race 2 , Cameron said "I started 8th for this one after the reverse grid had taken place which meant another decent chance of points for me. However, after being shuffled down the order slightly to I believe 11th, I was collected at Luffield by a spinning driver dropping me to 22nd with no splitter. I then pushed my way back up to 15th and narrowly missed out on 14th on the line when side-by-side with Wopke. However, that should be 14th after the results are finalised as Wopke himself feels he retained it unfairly by going off-track. Credit to the guy for putting his hands up"

Finishing 5th , Risto said, "The offline was wet for some laps from the start. Got a great getaway again and was very quickly gaining positions, getting to the front driving behnid Lopez who was a bit slower than me but was gaining leaders fast so I didnt go crazy. It was all going according to plan like all R2?s i have won, but at about half-way we had caught the podium with Lopez, he was passing Jundt into the first corners, there was a gap between them where I could take atleast one of them, we all gave great room and were 3-wide but i touched Jundts rear with my front a bit and the game bugged me in to the air like it was open wheelers and unfortunatley put me into a spin. Lost lots of positions but drove back with anger and got back to P5. ".
