Kernow Sport take us through their German Grand Prix experience.

Germany, Hockenheim, replaced Assen for Round 10 of the season. Kernow Sport decided this was a good idea after qualifying, when Dan Brewer scored the team's first ever pole position. An unexpected maiden pole, with an absolutely fantastic lap, from the driver of the #83: coming just a fortnight after his first podium in GPVWC.

TM Wicks: "Bart was missing for this event so Sven stepped in again, alongside Dan. We'd brought another batch of downforce upgrades along: keeping the car up there in the development race. Edonis and Vod:Bul still clearly far ahead, but we've managed to keep our noses a whisker ahead of Nordsjoen and Woods.

So Dan's pole was well deserved. It was great to see one of our cars leading the field around to the grid. It just shows how good the car is and at this stage of the season a pole position for us is an incredible achievement.

As the race started Dan managed to hold the lead, but the power and upgrades on the Edonis meant Francesconi was able to pass before the lap was over. Pushke too, in the Vod:Bul, followed soon after. Dan managed to hold onto him and run 3rd for the opening stint. As the pitstops and strategy game played out he was up and down the leading dozen positions. But, whilst running 5th he started to suffer electronic issues. Guttingly he was forced into retirement after 24 laps and a great chance of another massive points haul was snatched away.

Sven worked diligently from his 14th place grid slot. Climbing upwards gradually and pulling off some daring overtakes to get the fans cheering. He crossed the line 9th place, for 7 points. A score that helps keep us level with Woods in the championship."
