As announced at the GPVWC Day, the traditional winter series makes a comeback with a distinctive 80s flavour, minus the funny hair and shoulder pads.
The 2017 GPVWC Masters Series will open the new racing year with a high-octane experience that will surely provide a great show.

The vehicle of choice for the series, the Toyota Celica GTO, harks back to the glory days of the IMSA championship and it will be tested on five tracks designed to provide close, exciting racing.

The full calendar for the 2017 GPVWC Masters Series, to be raced on Wednesdays, is:

- 11/01/2017, Oulton Park
- 18/01/2017, Circuit Paul Aramagnac, Nogaro
- 25/01/2017, Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo
- 01/02/2017, Adelaide Street Circuit
- 08/02/2017, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Applications for teams to enter the series are now open and they will close on December 28.
