The Dizzo team held a low key launch for their 2002 team. The event took place late this afternoon with only Blair Disley [Team Manager & Driver for Dizzo] and a selection of journalists present. The Dizzo car has been re-liveried by Max Dowforce, and looks miles apart from the orginal livery that was submitted to GPVWC Administration earlier this week.

Blair Disley - Team Manager/Driver

"I would like to start off by saying that just because I am the only person present, it doesn't mean that the Dizzo team will be the last team in the Constructors Standings. I will be one of the drivers for the team and won't let that happen! I would also like to take this opportunity, even though he is not present, to state that I have been in talks with Chris Day, and that he will also be racing for the Dizzo team. The contract is now in his hands, but hasn't been signed yet and that is why Chris is not present - the deal only happened within the last 24hrs.

"For 2002, Dizzo will be a new team on the grid in the GPVWC. We are here for the whole year, and we will not go bankrupt or leave, like one team has currently done. We might only have an Asiatech engine, which you people might think would make us finish last, but it's only the BHP that will be altered to my knowledge, meaning that it is still up to the driver to win.. but not 100% as the BHP is altered! I'll leave it at that, and you'll have to wait until the Australian race to find out how many points we score in our first race. Oh, one other thing, Chris Day will speak to you soon about his prospects, thank you".
