MadCape Racing Team are proud to announce our driver lineup for the 2018 GPVWC SuperLeague season.

We have two familiar Swedish faces join our ranks for the new year, each bringing a wealth of sim racing experience along with them.

Eric Stranne and Tobias Olsson will be racing under the MadCape banner at GPVWC in 2018. We're fabulously excited to have two incredibly talented drivers on board for the new season. We can't wait to see what they can achieve in what is arguably the most competitive rFactor2 open-wheel championship in the world.

Jean-Pierre Helpap, who is no stranger to the team, will be taking on the role of test driver for MadCape this season.

Eric Stranne: "(SuperLeague) puts much more emphasis on strategy than any other GPVWC series, which will be interesting. The racing is very different from the sprint races I'm used to. You can try to make up time or places on lap 1, but then it's all about not making mistakes and just staying on top of things. I'm looking forward to seeing how high up the grid I can place myself."

Tobias Olsson: "MadCape is well established in the simracing scene, and i feel honoured to be representing them this year. The challenge for all people involved around the team and the league, plus of course driving the car fast and making good strategy choices is what drew me to the series. I'm hoping for a good competitive year for me as a driver, and for the team as well."

Xavier De Carvalho: "I'm incredibly excited to have Eric, Tobias, and Jean-Pierre as part of our SuperLeague outfit this year. I'm confident that we'll be able to put a far better car together this year compared to last year. I'll be investing more time into our SuperLeague team and the management system to ensure we have the best chance at bringing home top-step results. We saw flashes of brilliance last season, and we're going to work hard to expand on that in 2018."
