The team formerly known as Idos Motorsport announced the return of Cameron Rodger, who scored points in his previous outing with the team.

The Idos Motorsport team, which renamed as Schubert Motorsport after striking a deal with the German ADAC GT Masters team, bringing yet another real life team into the world of eSports.

The team restructuring also meant a driver swap was on the cards, with July being the original date. The team saw Australian Ed Williams drop out at the end of the Canadian round of the championship, a disappointing outing in which he failed to finish in both races, whilst teammate Galka had a DNF and a P17 finish. This prompted the team to search a driver earlier than planned, with three separate candidates interested in the seat.

After a short time of deliberation the team saw their emergency driver Cameron Rodger, who scored the team's first points of the season alongside multiple other high placing finishes, step back into the team full-time alongside retained Galka. With a few penalties to serve first, Rodger's return will be slightly hampered. However, this will give Cameron a chance to prove even more how capable a driver he is and show why he was picked by the team.

Cameron Rodger (Driver ~ #80)
"I am very pleased to be racing for the team again, however this time under the Schubert moniker. I enjoyed my reserve races at the start of the season and would like to get many points in the remaining two thirds of the season.

"The decision to rejoin was made pretty easily. Alex offered me the seat as soon as it was available and I couldn't say no especially as Michael was more than happy to be full time team mates."
