The WTF1 GPVWC Superleague returns from the summer break for the Hungarian GP on Thursday. The race has been held here for fifteen of the past eighteen years dating back to the year 2000 using GP$, Rfactor and now Rfactor2.

The team comes into the event having won this race for the previous three seasons in the hands of Philipp Puschke and Rudy Van Buren. No other team has ever won here three times and this of course also means the Valiant engine has dominated here too, in only the three years of production Valiant has never not won in Hungarian GP.

Team owner Mike Pitman
?2018 is arguably the most competitive field in GPVWCs long history and so making it a fourth year in a row here will be a high challenge, but if anyone can do it I have faith in my incredible drivers. Philipp and Rudy were masterful around here in our car with Valiant engines and we have already seen Alex and Risto capable of the same great drives, I cant wait to get racing again on Thursday?

ACR Zakspeed are having a great season so far, currently topping the Teams championship with Siebel leading the drivers standings from his team mate Kappet in second.

Can Alex Siebel or Risto Kappet add their name to the winners list here which includes such great champions as: Jakonen, Elencevski, Keersmaekers, Tanskanen, Euler and Fidock plus of course the aforementioned Puschke and Van Buren.
