Formula Challenge will have another new team on the grid next year with Crossfire Competition joining the ranks for 2019.

The Oxford based team managed by GPVWC Commentator David Carter, only got created in August this year and this will be the team's first entry in a league.

Carter is said "to be delighted" to make the grid after he wanted to create and run a team, after retiring from full time driving. A lot has happened in a very short space of time at Crossfire and now the team are working flat out to be prepared for the new season.

Crossfire's driver line up of Menno Klont, Craig Patteson and Reserve driver George Whitehouse shows a statement of intent of wanting to be competitive from the beginning and the team have a expectation of regular strong points finishes and top 3 in the teams championship in their debut season.

Carter has also confirmed they have backing from 2 local businesses, The Race Hut and GT Automotive Parts UK which both will supply logo's for the car for 2019 and are both excited to be a part of the team and will be keeping a eye on how the team perform this year.

A livery will be announced when the final design get's completed
