Cenobite Motorsports is happy to announce rookies Noah Chilla, Pedro Moura and Arjan van Putten to the team.
All drivers will be driving their first full season in GPVWC this year. Chilla, coming from a F1 2018 background, will make his debut as primary driver over at Cenobite, after having done one Formula Challenge weekend earlier last year in Abu Dhabi. Moura will accompany him, having slightly more experience after doing six Formula Challenge races, and two Supercup races in 2018.
Arjan van Putten will finalize the line-up as Cenobite's test & reserve driver. The Dutchman will be a primary driver in Formula Challenge for GOTeam Racing, and will work closely with the Cenobite line-up, as well as do the tests and fill in if necessary.
Liam de Waal: "I am really excited to announce this line-up, as all three drivers have massive potential. From testing together it is apparent they are all very dedicated and fast, but I'm sure they will become even better as the season goes on."
Noah Chilla: "As a new driver to the series my goals and expectations can't be very precise, but I know that I will always give everything and hope to please my team with my performances. Regular points finishes would be a very good goal for the start, to then go step by step."
Pedro Moura: "I'm very optimistic for this year racing for Cenobite and I'm very happy with the opportunity that Liam gave to me. I did some races as emergency for some teams in the end of the last year but now it's going to be my debut as a primary driver at GPVWC. Now that I'm racing for a strong and solid team, it will depend only on my talent to get good results and I hope to prove my skills fighting for the top positions on the grid this year."
The team made it's first showing Wednesday in Mexico, having what De Waal described as a "perfect day", finishing P7, P26 and P36. In two weeks, Cenobite Motorsports will be seen on track again as the second and final preseason test will take place in Spain.
