The streets of Jeddah delivered plenty of drama in Round 4 of the Formula Sprint 1 season, as Oliver Taras powered to a sensational win in Race 1, while Mateusz Majka made a statement with a strong comeback victory in Race 2.
Qualifying belonged to Taras, who put his Apex GP machine on pole with a brilliant lap of 1:36.619, edging out Pawel Andrzejewski by just 0.025 seconds. Majka and Lahtinen secured the second row, ensuring a Malta Force vs. Apex showdown was on the cards right from the start.

In Race 1, Taras converted pole into victory with clinical precision. Despite early pressure from the Malta Force duo, he held his line and delivered a faultless drive, leading home teammate Jasse Lahtinen for a 1-2 finish that launched Apex GP firmly into title contention. Lucas Thylin rounded out the podium in third after a measured drive.

Drama unfolded behind the leaders when championship frontrunner Pawel Andrzejewski suffered a dramatic spin midway through the race. He dropped down the order but recovered to finish in the points. Elsewhere, Lucas Murno impressed with strong pace, holding off pressure from Roszak and Ribolli in the midfield.

Race 2 saw a shaken-up grid due to the reverse order format, and it was Majka who surged through the pack to claim victory. A bold early move put him in clean air, and from there, the Malta Force driver controlled the pace, holding off Taras by less than a second. Lorenzo De Ciutiis completed the podium after a gritty race for Shiba.

Further back, Jesper Eriksson pulled off a solid drive to sixth, while Patryk Roszak rebounded from his Race 1 retirement to finish 12th, narrowly missing out on the top ten. Lucas Murno's charge faded slightly as pit strategies unfolded, but the Pixelate stand-in still showed promise.

Apex GP's form has shaken up the constructors' battle, closing the gap to second-placed Team Shiba, while Malta Force maintains a commanding lead despite setbacks.
