Dizzo driver Chris Day accepted full blame for his retirement on lap 13 of the Australian GP in Melbourne. Day lost the backend on his car as he headed through turn 14, after earlier dropping down the order due to a stop to repair damage to the cars front wing.

"I am dissapointed with what happened today and I have to admit it's my fault, I let the team down. Although Blair done well and bought the car home in a fantastic 6th, the way the car was handling I felt points were on the cards for both of us. I pushed the car too far beyond its limit and couldn't catch the slide as I had managed earlier, but I will be looking to put in a strong performance come Malaysia".
