Dan Lawrence topped the timesheets in Barcelona - Spain today in the 1st of a 4 day testing session.
The 1st 3 drivers were covered by only 3 tenths of a second.
The Briton put his DPI through 30 laps testing the Ford engine in the hope of improving its performance.
Guilo Paperelli was 2nd in the Jonk GP-Ferrari while he was improving the reliability of his car.
Brian Bloemendal set the 3rd fastest time of the day putting more miles on the already competitive Honda powerplant, his 1st outing for MaMa Racing.
The 4th quickest driver was MCR's Andrew Turner who was someway off the pace, although it is only testing and nothing should really be read into the lap times. He was working the Mercedes engine.
2 other teams failed to take to the track.
KRB's Andrew Joma quit the team early this morning, leaving the team stuck with no-one to drive their car for today.
Mapes-VO were also present at the circuit, but the car never left the garage. Matt Maple was supposed to be testing improvements on the Honda engine.

The test continues tomorrow, with all of the above teams staying on to improve their cars further.
