James Menzies reflected on the first performance of MCR after the Barcelona test.

"3rd is a great result for me and the team. We have really pushed the car to the limits this weekend. The team has high hopes after testing at Barcelona last week and we have seen the results of the improvements made to the car."

"This track is tricky in parts and you have to commit to a lot of corners, I went out early and the lap came together perfectly. The car is running strong at the moment and its good to see great results this early in the season. The team is working hard to improve the car for me and we are not far off the other guys at the moment. I am confident that we will do well this weekend but a podium would top it off nicely."
