MaMa Racing driver Leon Verheggen has reacted on the early statements made by his team boss Luc Lissens. Their seems to be major troubles at the headquarter of MaMa Racing.

Luc Lissens was not happy at all seeing Leon not qualifying. He stated the next line: "If he doesn't drive in Brazil, I will get a new driver. I am not willing to see points slipping away for my team."

Erdem Coban is not happy if he would get a new teammate: "Leon is a good driver, I want him to stay and stick with me. Together we can get good results. If he gets fired, I must think about my future."

Leon Verheggen had the next things to say: "Luc was very disappointed in me, because I didn't drove at Sepang without a good reason. But he didn't say that I wasn't able to install the track on my PC properly. So, I think he didn't had a good reason to give me a bad name. He knew all along what the reason for my abscence was.

This brings me to my main point: in the MaMa Racing team is a very bad communication between staff and drivers. If I wasn't so close to Erdem and wouldn't talk to him so much, I would not know what to do and wouldn't get car set-ups etc. Isn't it so, that the staff is supposed to give this kind of information to BOTH drivers?? I think it would be fair if I had more back-up from the team.

If you want this league to be as realistic as possible, you should let the drivers drive and don't let them worry about other stuff like car set-ups or so.

I am very unhappy about the current situation and if things don't change soon, I will leave the MaMa Racing Team and find myself a spot elsewhere where I will be treated good."

Luc Lissens didn't wanted to react immediately. It seems that their will be a meeting between staff and drivers to solve all problems.

Coban gave some little comment though: "Everything is fine, no big problems. We will sit around the table and figure things out, don't worry. What is going on between Luc and Leon, is private."
