MaMa's Erdem Coban released these comments after the race.

"I am pretty satisfied to be honest...4th in qualifying, 5th in the race. And that on a track I didn't expect much of it. This means good things for the future. And my primary goal is to win my first race."

"Well, it was a good race I would say. I Made a good start, and was able to keep up with the leaders. My 3-stopper was a risk, but I thought if I had to have a chance to make it into the top 6, I had to take a different strategy from the others. Of course I am content with my 5th place, but it could have been 4th actually. In the end I had a lot of trouble. Disley was lucky to pass me in the last laps. 14 rounds before the end my rear-board became totally red and I had to change my driving-style....not so aggresive as I am used, which cost me some seconds. And if that was not worse, I had fuel problems in the end. 7 laps before the end I calculated that I had to slow down to make it to the finish line. So my lap times fall from 43's to 46's or even lower. And that was not enough...I came without fuel in the last corner. That's why my last lap was over 2 minutes. So that was a shame, because it would have been nicer to become 4th."

"In the end seeing where we were I can not complain. Now we go to Brazil, with my buddy Leon. I expect some good results there. It is my favourite track, and I believe a podium could be possible. But we shall see. But one thing is sure: my season starts now! I finally want to thank the team for giving me this result."
