Day 1 of the 2nd official test of the 2002 season has been completed. The 'Circuit de Nevers' in Magny Cours - France, is hosting the 4 day session which today saw Daan Van Renswoude top the timesheets ahead of a 7 car field.

Dan Lawrence set the 2nd quickest time of the day in his BA Racing - Cosworth, followed closely by the Ferrari powered KRB of Robert Filipe.

Andrew Cooper was a full second behind with the 4th fastest time testing his Mapes-VO - Honda. He finished slightly faster than Andrew Graydon driving for MCR in 5th Blair Disley in his Asiatech powered Dizzo in 6th. Peter Harding wound up 7th fastest out of the 7 runners, setting a time only 6 tenths slower than Disley.

CVRT & JonkGP failed to take to the track, despite being present at the circuit and visible in the team garages.
