It's been a hectic week for MCR, who have made some major changes. After a disappointing weekend in Imola, where neither MCR car took to the grid, more bad news followed when Chris Jones resigned from the team.

Jones wanted to spend more time with his family and following his other interests. Since then, MCR has secured the services of Brit Andy Graydon to fill the seat.

Graydon impressed the team while testing in France this week. The test is ongoing, and afterwards Graydon will be the team's full-time driver alongside Andrew Turner.

The team will have a new look in Barcelona, not only because of the new face on-board. A new livery has been created, compliments of Andrew Turner.

"We're excited about these changes and getting back on-track," says manager James Menzies. "We have only had both cars in the race at one of the events so far, and still find ourselves in the hunt. Now with two cars fighting tooth and nail week in and week out, we should be able to give the competition all it can handle."

Menzies went on to give his thoughts on the season to date.

"When we started, we wanted to finish in the top 3 constructors. That is still possible. The BMW's are in a class of their own, it seems. Hats off to them. But we feel we have a good shot at beating the rest of the teams, including the powerful Ferrarri's and Mapes-VO, who have come on strong lately. We regard those teams as our main competitors."
