The BA Racing team has been highly encouraged by it's recent testing pace at Magny Cours. Dan Lawrence was comfortably in the top 3 during each test day he participated in aswell as Mal Mckee setting very competitive laptimes during his day testing.

On the final day, Lawrence was set to beat Miguel's fastest time of the day; "I was marginally slower through sector 1, but I was 2 tenths quicker through sector 2! ...unfortunately I made a mistake into the final chicane in the last sector and lost a bit of time, but it was still an improvement all all of my lap times during the day....it's just a great shame that I set that lap on my final lap available! ..as I would definately have set the fastest time of the day otherwise."

This sort of pace bodes extremely well for the rest of the season, aswell as for the French Grand Prix in a few months time.

"The whole 4 days have gone without a hitch", Lawrence continued, "no reliability issues have surfaced, this while we have been working on solving them aswell! ..We can now boast to being one of the 2 most reliable teams in the GPVWC, something that we will aim to improve on over the next few tests aswell."

Mal Mckee had a great test on Friday, setting a personal best time at the French circuit aswell as boosting his and the teams confidence in him. A new engineer was assigned to Mal for the San Marino event, and while it didn't immediately show in his results, it certainly has done in testing!

The team is now fully prepared for Spain, a circuit which should suit the cars well.
