Everybody at KRB today had mixed feelings about the qualifying session. Jason Smith qualified in 8th position, he is the only driver in the top ten who chose the harder compound tyre, meaning we have a good strategy that should get us onto the podium.

It was not Jasons performance that seemed to make a frustrated atmosphere at the KBR pitbox. James Davidson was again disqualified. The third time this season out of only 5 races. When we asked, Kim De Schutter, KRB's team manager about his feelings he said: "No comments"

It is rumoured that Kim De Schutter immediately returned to the headquarters in Belgium to search for a replacement for James. In the first place the name of Robert Filipe was heard in the KRB pitbox. Robert Filipe is rumoured to have a very good relationship with Kim De Schutter, especially after his strong testing performance at Magny-Cours. However the test driver was not available for comments. More news on this will follow ASAP.

Harald Heinz, the team's Chief Engineer, told us: "We don't really know what was wrong. We won in Imola and now we do not perform as people expect from. We still have problems with the Michelin tyres, the BMW powered cars are really flying here, is it because of the Bridgestones?"

More news soon.
