Interviewed by RTE, Kieran Ryan had words of hope for his team.

"Recently we've moved ourselves up to 2nd in the Constructors Championship, in our continuing developments of the Mapes-VO car and with Honda getting their act together they've promised another faster engine in time for the Austria grand prix.

This year has been a success and in recent races we've scored 6 more points over Hernj-Roaldo, this may not seem much but with the vast 60bhp difference it's quite an achievement! We keep pushing the car and it responds well and with this car you can do that.

I've personally done a great job in Spain and I don't know how. I don't like the Barcelona track and I finished 4th. Austria is going to be difficult to drive as it's a circuit I like but I haven't really adapted my driving style as I should but hopefully I will. If we can hang on 2nd and I can hang on 4 in the drivers table then were in good shape as from Monaco on I get to my good circuits and with out car improving all the time, with recent podiums 3 on the trot with the latest 2nd, we're going to winning soon the only question is when?"
