dominant performance by Hernj-Roaldo saw the team take 1st and 2nd place at the Austrian Grand Prix. Daan Van Renswoude took the honours taking his 3rd win of the season and extending his Championship lead, while usual test/reserve driver, Erdem Coban, followed to take 2nd. Mikko Jakonen took another 3rd place for Mapes-VO, further cementing their 'best of the rest' status in the Constructors Championship.

Joe Consiglio took another 4th place for Stealth-Honda ahead of Blair Disley who put in a sensational performance to grab 5th place in the underpowered Dizzo - Asiatech.

Antonio Irissari finished 6th on his GPVWC debut. A bit further back was a very close battle for 7th place involving 5! cars! Kieran Ryan came out on top - marginally ahead of MCR's Andrew Graydon. 4 seconds back was the KRB duo of James Davidson and Gene Annunziata in 9th and 10th positions respectively. Dan Lawrence was at the tail end of the battle in 11th - another 4 seconds further back.

Danny Regan finished just outside the points for S.C.U.M in 12th place, ahead of the TGM duo [YES! there are 2 of them now! ]of Willy Ponissi and Risto Taiple in 13th and 14th positions respectively.

Guilio Paperelli pulled out on lap 33 with Engine failure, giving JonkGP a double non finish as Pablo Arteaga failed race.

Chris Day and Andrew Creek with both disqualified after the cars failed post race scrutineering.
