With a qualifying position of 5th on the grid, the race looked good. Technical difficulties aside for Andrew Turner, Andy Graydon's car ran sweet all weekend.

Race set-up was thought to be good and on the pace. Much work went on in the background to sort out which strategy was best, and after a race with no mistakes at all, a 3rd position was expected.

But 8th in the race was a vast disappointment - and obviously was down to the set up.

Andy Graydon commented "I pushed for the whole of the race, despite initial massive understeer on full tanks I was still lapping in the 1m14's - which looked good. Towards the end of a stint my tyres came good and I could constantly lap in the 1m13's. On a 1 stop strategy I was really hopeful for the race. But I ended up behind the Mapes-VO of Keiran on a similar 1 stop strategy and that pretty much put paid to my increasing the pace."

So, a dejected driver heads for some simulation work for Monaco - a circuit that is not particularly suited to his driving style.

"I'll be pushing, as always" said Andy.

Let's hope some of the sites in Monaco disturb the other drivers concentration!!
