After a few extended days of contract negotiations, Stealth-Honda has confirmed that Bernardo Bercht will assume the position of Test Driver for the team, for the remainder of the 2002 season.
Team Manager and Stealth Grand Prix Owner & CEO Ted Cragg was impressed with the new signee: "Bernardo has shown a keen interest and dedication already, and should push our two race drivers hard in testing and lap times. He is also keen on racing and we hope to extend to him other opportunities in the Stealth GP family."
Stealth-Honda is expected to confirm in the next day or two that Bercht will race at Monaco, taking the place of Joe Consiglio who will be out for the interim.
