Hernj-Roaldo are back, and have taken Pole Position for this weekends Canadian Grand Prix. The honours are with Pedro Daniel Miguel who has taken his 2nd Pole of the 2002 season, and his 1st since Imola back in April. Daan Van Renswoude took 2nd place with a time 3 tenths slower than his team mate. The Hernj-Roaldo boys didn?t have it all their own way though, as Stealth-Honda?s Joe Consiglio qualified close behind van Renswoude in 3rd place, and was the only other driver to break into the 1m16?s.

Gene Annunziata took 4th spot in the KRB and leads a line of cars who all set extremely competitive times. Andy Graydon was less than 1 tenth slower than Erdem Coban, on loan from Hernj-Roaldo to Stealth, set a respectable 8th fastest time in his 1st drive in the Stealth since it??s days as ?MaMa Racing?. in 5th and 3 thousandths of a second faster than Monaco winner, Mikko Jakonen, in 6th!

Kieran Ryan qualified in 7th place, just behind his race winning team mate, but significantly was half a second slower. Erdem Coban, on loan from Hernj-Roaldo to Stealth, set a respectable 8th fastest time in his 1st drive in the Stealth since it??s days as ?MaMa Racing?.

Blair Disley put in another heroic performance, throwing the car through the corners to put his Asiatech powered Dizzo into 9th spot. James Davidson had a poor session in comparison with his new team mate [Annunziata] and qualified nearly 1 second slower to put his KRB into 10th place on the grid.

Darren White qualified in 11th place for CVRT, ahead of a lacklustre Dan Lawrence in 12th for BA Racing.

Danny Regan occupies 13th spot for S.C.U.M, ahead of Risto Taiple?s E.I.R.E in 14th.

Peter Harding put the 2nd S.C.U.M on the following row in 15th spot, 2 tenths faster than Andrew Creek in the Cosworth powered CVRT.

Chris Day took the 17th quickest time in his Dizzo, while Mal McKee had a torrid time in the 2nd BA Racing, failing to register a time faster than 18th.

Guilo Paparelli was unusually slow, setting a time some 7 seconds off the pace for JonkGP.

William Ponissi was disqualifed due to software irregularities on his E.I.R.E, he must now start from P22 and face a time penalty to be added to his overall race time.

Andrew Turner failed to qualify for MCR, while JonkGP are yet to secure a driver for their 2nd seat since Pablo Arteaga?s departure.
