Erdem Coban was able to gave some comment, after we found him a bit drunk in the lounge room at his hotel after the party with the Hernj-Roaldo Team:

"I feel...great! I like Canada, the restaurants, the booze...everything except the track. But I am please with my results for Stealth. I am even more pleased with Joe's podium and ofcourse the 1-2 finish of my real team. I can tell you, Stealth Grand Prix is a great team, and I think this weekend is the turning point for them. They will be fighting for podiums from now on. I know they will, Ted Cragg is a good manager and Joe and their 2nd driver are good drivers."

"I was coming here, without having sit in a car since my race in Austria. I needed time to relax, I was having a good weekend in Austria and afterwards I was real tired. So I asked Roald Reurink, my manager, if I could go on holiday for some weeks. He said 'yes'. I spend the holiday mostly in Holland, with friends and family. It was great, I really needed that. And now I am back again..."

"Now up to Nurburgring. I like that circuit a lot. I have the opportunity to replace Daan. I am honoured with that. Roald really believes in me and I want to reward that faith with a good finish. I am am going for a top 2. I am dreaming of a win, but that will be hard...unless it rains a bit. I just would like to say that I find it sad to loose Daan. He is an excellent driver. I was, and still am, a rookie. He taught me some things about racing and I am gratefull of that. I wish him the best! So now I am looking forward to work with Pedro. He is a great driver also..."

Coban finally added the line: "Well I maybe drunk, like Roald states, but you should see him too...he is also drunk and is dancing with showgirls on the tables and singing the Dutch anthem...I like the guy, he's really my type of guy!" before he fell asleep...
