1. General Terms

1.1 By participating in the GPVWC SimRacing community, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, including the Code of Conduct outlined herein. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in penalties, including suspension or permanent banning.

1.2 The GPVWC SimRacing reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notification of significant changes will be provided through official communication channels.

2. Code of Conduct

2.1 General Conduct

2.1.1 The GPVWC SimRacing community values respect, inclusivity, and camaraderie. Members must not engage in behaviour that undermines, attacks, or damages the atmosphere within the GPVWC SimRacing community.

2.1.2 Members are required to maintain polite and respectful communication at all times. Offensive, derogatory, or insensitive material - whether intended as a joke or not - will be removed, and its author may face penalties.

2.2 Harassment and Discrimination

2.2.1 Any form of harassment, discrimination, or abuse - whether public or private - is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise discriminatory remarks or behaviour.

2.2.2 Reports of harassment or discriminatory behaviour will be investigated, and appropriate action will be taken, which may include warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.

2.3 Online Behaviour

2.3.1 GPVWC SimRacing forums, Discord servers, and other communication platforms are for discussion and constructive feedback, not for attacks, indiscriminate ranting, or defamatory comments.

2.3.2 Members agree to use their real names on GPVWC SimRacing forums and Discord to maintain accountability and professionalism.

2.3.3 Members are prohibited from defaming, creating bad publicity, or attacking the GPVWC SimRacing and its partners on the GPVWC SimRacing site or any external sites, including social media.

2.4 On-Track Behaviour

2.4.1 Professional conduct is expected during all sessions on GPVWC SimRacing servers, including unofficial practice sessions. This applies to both on-track and off-track behaviour.

2.4.2 Penalties, fines, and licence points may be applied to drivers or teams that fail to adhere to this standard.

2.5 Cheating and Sabotage

2.5.1 Members suspected of cheating may be suspended during an investigation. Members found guilty of cheating or sabotaging the league will face penalties, including disqualification, expulsion, and voiding of prior results.

2.5.2 Members aware of cheating but failing to report it will face the same penalties as those who engaged in cheating.

2.6 Disciplinary Actions

2.6.1 Penalties for breaches of this Code of Conduct may include:

• Warnings
• Points docking
• Fines
• Race suspensions
• Permanent bans

2.6.2 The GPVWC SimRacing Management reserves the right to impose penalties at its discretion based on the severity of the infringement.

3. Bans and Account Termination

3.1 GPVWC SimRacing reserves the right to ban or terminate the account of any member who:

• Makes racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or discriminatory comments, whether public or private.
• Engages in harassment or abuse.
• Violates any aspect of the Code of Conduct.

3.2 Bans may be temporary or permanent based on the severity and context of the violation.

3.3 Members banned for violating these terms forfeit any fees paid to the GPVWC SimRacing.

4. Data Collection and Usage

4.1 By participating in the GPVWC SimRacing community, members agree to their name and data being stored by GPVWC SimRacing for administrative and operational purposes.

4.2 Members also consent to their name being displayed on the GPVWC SimRacing website, official communication channels, and organisation materials where relevant.

5. Complaints and Appeals

5.1 Members may submit complaints or appeals regarding penalties through official channels.

5.2 All appeals will be reviewed by the GPVWC SimRacing Management, whose decision will be final.

6. Liability

6.1 The GPVWC SimRacing is not liable for any damages resulting from penalties, bans, or other actions taken in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

6.2 Members are responsible for their own conduct and any consequences arising from breaches of these terms.

7. Agreement to Terms

7.1 By participating in the GPVWC SimRacing community, members acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Code of Conduct. Participation in any GPVWC SimRacing-organised competition constitutes acceptance of these terms.
