The series is meant to be a place to accommodate new drivers joining the GPVWC, and as such they will get first option on seats. Likewise, new teams will get precedence over established ones. The series will be open to 22 teams and 44 drivers, with teams allowed to sign up to four drivers. Remaining slots will be offered to existing teams, in the understanding that, should new teams arrive, a slot will need to be opened.

In order to enter a team, would-be managers can register to the website and select "Register Team Interest" in the login area. Drivers interested in taking part in the World Sport Series can enter the Driver Market for this competition.

More details of the competition, due to start in little more than two weeks, will be released soon.
