As the teams selected for this years edition of the World Sports Series prepare for its first round later this month, Draig Racing announce their driver lineup for the series.

Draig Racing is pleased to announce its drivers for the 2016 GPVWC World Sports Series. Driving car number #5 is Thomas Hinss with Phillip Morby in the #6.

Team manager Ben Willis went on record to talk about the new pair of racers, "Both Tom and Phil are great guys to have around the team and both are raring to go. Phil is new to WSS, but his performances in WGT are a sure sign that he is a confident and fast racer on the rFactor 2 platform. Tom returns to WSS after his handful of outings for Woods last year, and I've seen first hand how determined he is to go out there and score points week in week out. Some may write us off for not having a lineup full of pure pace compared to the likes of Kappet and Siggy, but I would argue we have one of the most consistent lineups in the field so of course our objective is to score regular points."

When asked about his thoughts, Thomas said, "I'm extremely pleased to be able to race with the Draig outfit for the 2016 WSS season, I feel honored to be a part of such an experienced and successful team. It certainly won't be a easy season ahead as the level of competition will no doubt be very high, but I will be giving my absolute all to get as far up the field as possible for the team."

Phillip had the following to say after the announcement: "I'm looking forward to an exciting new season with Draig having made the switch from world GT last season. I had a solid first half of the season in the masters and hope to continue that throughout the WSS calendar."

Extensive testing has already begun in preparation for the new season (staring on 16/03) and both of last years cars have been sent back to the paint shop for a new lick of paint.
