Synergetic Supercup driver Roy Schroten was in a somber mood after the Monaco Grand Prix, and told the journalists he was dissapointed with the race result.

QUALIFYING

Roy started from the 10th place, after he had some trouble with traffic. Roy: "The possibility of trafic is big on this track, and everybody kept that in mind. It is a shame when you get hold back, but you have to live with it".

RACE

Roy had a decent start and stayed out of trouble. But after a lap he spun and had to start all over again. Roy: "It is really special that no big crashes happend at the start of the race. You can see that the drivers in the Supercup learnt a lot in the races we have had, and feel each other more than in Australia and the other races. The fact that you spin and have to begin all over again gives you an extra boost to drive faster, but you can't use that on this track, or you will spin".

h many drivers to eventually drive at the 6th place. "I had a great race, and was able to stay out of trouble. The strategy worked out great and I won a position with it. Then after ten laps Boyd was faster than me, but due to some problems he was a lap down. I let him overtake me, something I would like to see from other drivers as well. They are faster and a lap down, so why not letting them pass, instead of getting big risks when they try to overtake you".

CRASH

Roy was driving 6th when Terence and David lost time. "I tried to push the car to close the gap between me and them, but when I did I lost control of the car and lost my front wing. I really felt bad afterwards, although I scored 2 points. I should be happy with that, but I know that I could (and should) have finished 6th. I feel bad for the team who supported me all season long".

BRIGHT SIGHT

"I have to be happy with how the season goes, though. Unless Melbourne I scored points at every track, something I didn't expect to happen when I signed the contract with Synergetic".

CANADA

With Roy ready for the Canadian GP, the team is ready was well to get even more points. "Montreal always has been one of my favourite tracks, so I hope I can get some points there. I would be very happy if everything will go like last year, were I took my first points in the GPVWC not only for me, but for RTS as well. I remember the white/blue colours of the car, something I will never forget. I hope I can spin some donuts at the end of the race again, but now in a green/yellow/black car!".
