Team owner Mike Phillis has gone on record and stated that his team shall be returning to the GPVWC racing scene.

Under new leadership of the appointed CEO Dale Carrick, Draig Racing are going to be entering the World Sport Series this season.

With the past problems that Draig have faced, Phillis has recruited Dale to be at the for-front of everything the team does. Phillis stated that the work that he had been doing had burnt him out so he needed someone to spear head the team, with this in mind Carrick must of heard the calling having sent Phillis some correspondence about the team.

Over the past few months Phillis and Carrick have traded ideas and knowledge of their expertise and their own personal Rolodex.

"We have employed Dale to spear head the team ensuring that the best interests are taken care of, I alone can not fulfill the requirements needed for the team. Dale will have control of the team, with obvious decisions being made by the higher management meetings. Dale come to the team with some fresh ideas, with a huge reputation and undoubtedly the prowess to succeed."
