The team, managed by Stefan McCready, will make its GPVWC debut in the International Touring Cup to mark the latest new team to join our community.
Following the folding of GT Competizione which, despite a promising application, failed to appear in any of the opening rounds of the series, the vacant spot on the grid had become available.
Apex Racing is a completely new entry to the GPVWC and it is hoped that, coming with two established drivers, it will play a positive contribution to the ITC and the community in general.
"We are glad to welcome Apex to GPVWC" said GPVWC Administrator Will Ponissi. "We had some really good applications for the vacant spot, but this mid-season entry represented the ideal opportunity for us to give a chance to an entity that has yet to prove its value.
"This is how some of the most successful teams in the history of GPVWC started and we hope Apex will be able to follow in the footsteps of those teams."
