2018 marks the return of Apex, but with a few differences including a new name, a new title sponsor and a new sense of drive and purpose.

So first things first, we are proud to announce that we will be teaming up with Precision FX for the 2018 and beyond as we look to grow as a team and brand going forward.

Team Manager Stefan McCready: "I am very happy to announce this partnership. It brings in the opportunity to grow Apex Motorsport as a brand alongside PrecisionFX as we look to work on our targets for 2018 onwards. We very much look forward to working with Ben Willis and hope we can have a successful partnership."

Precision FX Owner Ben Willis: "It's really great to be working alongside Apex for this season. Both Apex and Precision FX have a common vision as ambitious and young entities, so it's a natural partnership that we feel will benefit both going into 2018 and onwards. We look forward to a long and successful partnership."

We are genuinely excited by the prospects this partnership brings. As a result of this change the teams full name will be Apex Motorsport with PrecisionFX and our team colours will be changing to reflect both brands.

Alongside our new title Sponsor we are happy to confirm that we are entering Formula Challenge and our lineup has been finalised for the 2018 season.

Our lineup is one we hope can bring us success going into the new season. Our lineup is:

#83 - Stefan McCready
#84 - Ben Willis
Reserve Driver - Matt Richards

So alongside team owner Stefan (one of the few Driver/Owner combos... just saying) is Ben Willis in the 1st primary driver seat. We are really excited to welcome Ben to Apex. Ben brings a wealth of experience and ability that we feel we needed and can use as we enter the foray that is Formula Challenge.

Ben Willis: "It's great to be driving at Apex this year in the GPVWC FC. Stefan is a very close friend of mine, so the opportunity to work in such an environment is going to be really good fun. For me personally, after a year out of the Career Ladder, this year is about hitting the ground running and gunning for as many points as possible. I feel i have a lot more sim-racing experience under my belt, and with success starting to show elsewhere, it's time now to return to GPVWC and give it my all. My extended thanks to Stefan for offering me this opportunity and i look forward to a great season.'

Should Stefan or Ben not be able to race we have a fairly capable (multiple race winner) driver in the form of Matt Richards to take over the reigns and we feel incredibly lucky to have him with the team.

At Apex we are very excited to get underway this year and look forward to racing with everyone.
