The GPVWC Independent Series are back for 2016 - and they promise to bring another season of great racing.
The split-season format for this year sees the World Sport Series and the World GT Championship starting early in the season, alongside the new Vintage Series, while the second part of 2016 will feature the International Touring Cup and the yet-to-be-revealed Community Choice series.

The GPVWC Management is happy to announce that the WSS will be run on the rFactor 2 edition of the popular Enduracers Flat6 mod, while the WGT will feature the latest version of the URD mod that underpinned the series in 2015.

The Vintage Series, which will be run on the original rFactor, will feature a selection of cars from the F1 1991 mod.

Entries are now open for teams to register their interest for WSS and WGT. Teams applying are also required to indicate which of the series is their priority among the two - as a very high interest is expected. Entries will close on Sunday, February 21st at 10pm.

Details of the Vintage Series will be disclosed soon, with the possibilities being discussed being for the series not to feature teams, and to see drivers who are not competing in any rFactor 2 competition at GPVWC being given a preference.

The final calendars for all three series will be released in the next few days.
