The 2010 Supercup Turkish Grand Prix saw Mickael Folcher claim his first ever Supercup pole position, making the most of Liam Hatchell's absence to pip guest driver Mark Wicks. The English driver's hope of a win, however, ended by turn 1, when a spin relegated him to last and allowed Christoph Lichtenstein to move up to 2nd.

Both Red 5 Racing cars retired soon after, with Gavin Thomas and Wayne Mullins crashing out before the end of lap 6. A relatively uneventful race followed, with Frenchman Folcher able to open up a wide gap over the field and cruising home for his maiden win with almost half a minute advantage.

Mark Wicks battled his way through the field and managed to catch up to Lichtenstein, pressuring his rival into making a small mistake with four laps left and being able to claim second place - the German driver losing points some precious points in his title fight.
