He famously won the most crash prone driver award in 2011 in the Supercup series.

Superleague
2011
Teemu got his first chance at driving in Superleague at Williamson Dynamics after the spot had opened for a race driver. His efforts were poor, his three starts resulting in one DNS and two retirements. After Williamson Dynamics became history Toikka joined Constant Racing but his luck didn't change. Retirements in both Mexico and Brazil finished the season in an embarrassment.
2012
Toikka stayed with Constant but was relegated to test driver duties for the season.
2013
Teemu clinched the 2nd race seat at Woods Racing after the departure of Kieran Ryan, teaming up with Tom Parker, his ex-team manager from PB Racing.
Supercup
2011
Teemu raced his first ever race at GPVWC in Kyalami after being offered race seat at PB Racing, but his inexperience shone through and he was to retire from the race. The rest of the season wasn't any better, being able to finish 12th at best in Monaco, Great Britain and Canada GP's.
2012
Teemu was able to retain his seat at PB after the horrible debut season in GPVWC, pairing up with William Tringas. Teemu was forced to take a break from GPVWC after lagging into other drivers. After his break Teemu was able to come back well rested and most importantly, with a new connection. He had also bought a new G27 just before his break and had tested with the new wheel so at the end of the season Teemu was able to achieve his first ever SC points with 9th place in Singapore.
Formula Challenge
2014
In 2014, Teemu drove for Velocity Racing, teaming up with familiar faces Ollie Woods and William Tringas and propelling the team to new heights; a podium in Germany being the highlight. Teemu eventually finished 10th in the drivers championship.
2015
For 2015, Teemu signed to compete for YTF1, teaming up with another Teemu: Teemu Valkeejärvi.
FA Racing
Teemu has been the team manager of FA Racing since 2011 Masters. Credentials FA come from "Forever Alone", which Teemu gets called a lot.
Masters
In autumn 2011 Toikka founded the FA Racing in Masters series, fielding 3 drivers, himself, William Tringas and William Ponissi, without any major success. For 2012 Masters Toikka applied for a team spot with FA Racing but failed to get a spot.
Formula Challenge
In winter 2012 Toikka decided to give open wheeler team managing a go with the new series Formula Challenge. Originally he had hired Gasper Mozek and Miguel Macedo as his drivers, but as the season went along both drivers dropped out from series and many drivers fielded FA Racing, most successful being Scott Bennett, achieving 3rd place finish in Irish GP.
Supercup
After the decent season in Formula Challenge, team decided to try their luck in Supercup, with Nico de Koninck and Vinodh Moodley as teams drivers.
