Superleague 2011

 
  • Staff and sponsor negotiations have been completed by the Superleague teams and open the way for the final and most important round of bidding - engine suppliers.  
  • Preparations for the 2012 season are well underway now, with the beta version mod and trackpack having been released via simsync and most driver line-up having been confirmed. A full list of competitors and test drivers can be found here.  
  • In a shock move 2010 champion Janne Tanskanen announced his return to the Superleague and was quickly snapped up by the Red Archer team. This marks the first time since 2005 that 2 reigning champions have lined up on the grid.  
  • More Superleague lineups have been revealed with Hawkeye opting for Bart De Vos and Lewis Redshaw, Woods Racing choosing Tom Parker to partner Kieran Ryan and the Stanton brothers both lining up at Constant. Soon after Synergetic and ST Racing both revealed all English lineups with Liam Hatchell and Ojay Clark at Synergetic and Mark Fuller and Tom Eley at ST.  
  • The first batch of driver announcements for the 2012 have been made with a mix of old and new faces lined up for so. Nordsjoen Racing were first to reveal their lineup of reigning champion Joe Consiglio and Estonian driver Pavel Loknovski. Red 5 marked their return to the Superleague with the all Welsh lineup of Gavin Thomas and Ben Morgan, while Midnight Motorsport have secured the services of Nick Rowland and recent Endurance race winner Lukas Euler.
