New faces at Maximum Racing for the Canadian Grand Prix: the German outfit proudly announced today the signing of Mike Phillis and Lee Iden as race drivers for the reminder of the season.

The duo are set to debut in Montreal next week for their first GPVWC race, but have a wealth of experience in other series. Welshman Phillis, who also deals with graphics when not racing, will sit in car #9, while Englisman Iden will drive car #10.

Team Manager Anthony Meier expressed all his joy at the signings after a difficult time in which Maximum Racing struggled to get drivers on track: "I think? that these signings are a great opportunity to shine in the second half of the season and also in the future" said the German, "Maximum Racing is looking forward to the rest of the season with great enthusiasm."

The Canadian Grand Prix will take place on the 3rd of September, and is the first race after the Summer Break.
