A shorter calendar and a new weekly breakdown were the big news when the calendars for the new season were presented in Silverstone.
A refreshed calendar for the 2019 will see just 16 rounds in the Career Ladder, focussing on quality rather than quantity and allowing the opportunity for more promotion of the individual rounds.
The new schedule will work on a bi-weekly basis, with Week One seeing the Academy Series (Tuesday, when scheduled), Formula Challenge (Wednesday) and the Independent Series (Thursday); Week Two will feature Supercup (Tuesday), Superleague Lights (Wednesday) and Superleague (in its traditional Thursday slot).
The Superleague calendar is as follows:
2019-02-14 Pre-Season Test 1
2019-02-21 Pre-Season Test 2
